Who is Al Bashek?

AL BASHEK was established in 1996 and soon became a member in Damascus chamber of commerce as one of the largest companies specializing in exhibitions, conferences and trading within the construction industry.

Our driving focus and first priority is the attraction of new experiences and the latest technologies to Syria and to expend our upmost efforts in organizing "Project Al-Bashek '10" for the third time within the Syrian construction market.

"Project Al-Bashek '10" is an international trade exhibition held in Syria, exhibiting construction and environmental technology, building materials, and stone equipment to the Middle East.

This exhibition offers trade visitors a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with a full range of building products, heavy equipment, stone finishing materials, and electrical and lighting products. It will, no doubt, attract professionals and key buyers from all over the region who require the latest technology and equipment available in the market. It will also attract business opportunities to the construction market.
This event will commence on the 5^th October and will run until the 9^th October 2009 at the New Fairgrounds City in Damascus.
Syria is now moving within a rapidly developing economic era, in which new laws are being issued to encourage investment intended to develop the construction and building sectors. This will give foreign and local companies an equal chance to submit competitive offers for the development of these two sectors (construction and building).
The demand for residential buildings is rapidly increasing due to a fast growing population and a progressive economic climate. Therefore a large number of housing units, hospitals, new factories, and public facilities are to be built within the next few years, all requiring a full range of building products, materials and accessories
We have participated in the following events:

• RASHID KARAMI Fairground exhibition for food industry (Tarablos-Lebanon).
• In the Arab Union for Food Industries Exhibition, in the years 2001-2003 (Tarablos – Lebanon).
• General Exhibitions Corporation, Syria.
• Participated in organizing the "Rebuild Iraq" exhibition in Kuwait in 2004 and in Jordan – Amman 4-7 April, 2005.
• We organized the Syrian stand in the 5th Arab African fair – Lebanon 2001.
